Six titled sets in one folder: Dans abstract (Abstract Dance), Dansul naturii (The Dance of Nature), Despre dans (About Dance), Insula Enigma (Enigma Island), Lumea de aici lumea de dincolo (The World Here, The World Beyond), and Grădina. Insula fantastică (The Garden. The Fantastic Island). Most frames are square masters, 7205 pixels a side at 300 dpi — about 61 centimetres printed. A pond read through its own sediment. A figure smeared across a long exposure. Frames drawn into with light, broken, and pushed until the colour turns. The photograph is treated as a surface to work on, not a window to look through. Light is written across the frame, the emulsion breaks up and dissolves, colour inverts until a doorway reads acid green. One set was shot in the developing tray itself, a wet print floating in red plastic. Made between January and June 2018 and never shown here. It runs alongside the bleach drawings of the same years — the same habit of damaging a surface on purpose and keeping what it gives back.
