ELAN
One stroke, six panels, and it does not stop at the joins
Six white panels hung together as one field, and a single black stroke that crosses every join between them. It begins bottom left as a dry dragged mass, lifts into a hard black bar along the top, then breaks apart into spray and falls away to the right.
A red arc runs beneath it the other way and ends in a small red blob, where the brush left the surface. A red disc sits in the middle, wound on in a spiral. One short black slash below it.
The stroke was made in one pass and the paint was still wet — a drip runs down out of the black where gravity got to it before it dried. The panels are square and still. The mark is not.
