DRACULA'S JACKET

Red, charcoal, and a line drawn over the top

The jacket flat on white, buttoned, red bleeding into charcoal across the whole body
The back close up, a bird, a tower and a small standing figure drawn in thin black line over the red
The drawing on the back

Denim taken to red and charcoal, the two colours allowed to bleed into each other rather than sit in panels, so the jacket reads as weather before it reads as a garment. The charcoal gathers at the shoulders and the cuffs, which is where a coat would darken anyway.

The jacket folded on white, the collar with its red label and one darkened sleeve
Collar and cuff, where the charcoal gathers

Over that, a thin black line. A bird, a tower, a figure with its arms out, drawn small and loosely on the back where nobody wearing it would ever see them. The drawing is not a print and does not repeat; it was put on afterwards, by hand, in the places the dye had left quiet.

The jacket flat on white and open, the dye running from red at the chest into black at the shoulders
